October is all about the PINK! It may officially be Fall and yellow – orange and red are popping up everywhere but you are sure to find PINK around every corner – Its National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – this is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and a cure! Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women – the good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’ s found and treated early.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of getting the word out about mammograms, and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved.
