Decorating for Christmas

It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas and that means let the decorating begin! While all your Christmas Cheer has been packed up for the summer it’s that time of year when we pull out the decorations and begin decorating our homes for the Holiday Season. Inspect all your electrical decorations and lights to make sure there are no lose, frayed or disconnected wires. Inspect electrical drop cords and power strips for any broken sockets or loose connections. Inspect electrical outlets outside to make sure no insects or critter have set up a residence.  Keep live trees away from any heat source and make sure you check your tree daily to ensure proper hydration.  Live trees are highly flammable, due to needles and sap. If you chose an artificial tree, make sure it is fire resistant. It’s the most wonderful time of the year so be safe and enjoy this special time with family and friends.
