Halloween Pumpkins Pumpkin carvings for Trick or Treating

Halloween and Covid-19

Oh, what a year it has been – with all the rules and stay at home regulations everyone is ready to get back to some sort of normality – so what does this mean for all the little ghosts, goblins and trick or treating?

This all depends on your area – and the rules aligned with the CDC. Many traditional Halloween activities can be a high-risk and should be avoided. Safer and alternative ways to celebrate the festivities of Halloween are being recommended, so let’s list a few –

  • Carving or painting pumpkins with family members or neighbors outside
  • Halloween scavenger hunt
  • Putting on a Virtual Halloween costume contest
  • Decorate your house and let the children vote on the best scary festive home in the neighborhood
  • Leave a bowl of candy outside for trick or treaters

Adults and children have had to make so many adjustments over the past several months so being safe and celebrating safely can still make a fun and scary Halloween for all.
