Time to Check your Gutters

Every homeowner has a list of things to do before winter starts to set in. Cleaning your gutters and removing all leaves and debris should be at the top of your list. In most areas of the South – leaves begin to fall towards mid to end of September and continue for many weeks. The weather can change daily so if you notice your gutters starting to fill up – get started early. Late fall storms can roll up anytime and remember we are still in Hurricane Season. If your gutter and downspouts are blocked with leaves – heavy rainwater may not drain properly and cause water to back up. This could cause water damage to your home both inside and out. Inspect you gutters and downspouts until all the leaves have fallen this can save you money in the long run.
