Warms days can still cause Frozen pipes

A child playing with the water hose Warmer days and a good water hose!

We all got a sneak peak of Spring today here in the south! The rain finally stopped, the sun was shining, and the temperatures rose well above 70 degrees. Maybe you got out and did some home cleaning – washed your car or cleaned out some flower beds to prepare for spring planting. However, you spent this beautiful day just be mindful that the temperature can change in an instant – so make sure you drained any water lines and hoses once you were finished.  Freezing temperatures are still among us, this time of year the weather is unpredictable – just because it may be above 70 today it can turn colder quickly and even overnight.  Keep your home safe from freezing water lines that can cause water damage later. Spring is just around the corner so hang in there and enjoy the warmer days we are given now!
