Fireworks in the Sky Fireworks on the 4th of July

July is almost here and many families are gearing up for the upcoming July 4th Holiday weekend. With food – family – fun and fireworks. It’s a special time of year as we celebrate the passage of the Declaration of Independence with our family and friends.  Fireworks are used in almost every celebration but if you have pets – its not so much fun for our 4-legged family friends.  The noise and unpredictability of fireworks may lead many dogs into a panic or anxiety.  Preparing your home and outings with pets can help reduce some of the stress. It is best to leave your dog at home in a safe quiet room or turn on the television. Don’t bring your dog to see the fireworks – and if you must – make sure their collars are secure and microchips are up to date. Remember fireworks can be scary for your pets – leave them at home to assure their well being and safety.
